In collaboration with local village communities and Ministry of Natural
Resources and Environment of Samoa, ISME implemented a project in Samoa
to assist income generation of villages of Samoa.
The project constructed a jetty and purchased a small boat to accelerate mangrove tourisms for local communities. The project was financially supported by Nippon Keidanren Nature Conservation Fund (Japan Business Federation) for the period of July 2004 to June 2006. Now new funds are being sought to continue the project activities.
